Kenzan, also called spiky frog or flower frog, is traditionally used in the Japanese art of flower arrangement Ikebana. It's a useful tool when you want to arrange flowers and twigs. Its metal, circular heavy base has multiple copper needles, which keeps the flowers in place.
How to use the flower fakir:
Choose flowers and twigs, it works just as well with fresh as with dried flowers. Place the kenzan in a shallow bowl or vase. Give each stem a sharp, angled cut and insert it into the frog piercing the stem onto the nails. Then add water.
Size Ø 7 cm
Material Metall / Copper
Care Hand wash. Clean with a dish brush or toothbrush after use. Place it upside down on a towel so that it dries between uses. The Fakir should not be left in water for long periods of time, as this may cause discolouration.
