In the design collaboration between the Swedish company Sandatex who is the Nordics’ leading manufacturer of sun protection fabric and Fine Little Day, we put the window in focus with softly graphic sun protection and roller shades. A collection with a Scandinavian expression, with the clear presence of the hands work.

The roller shade collection consists of four patterns designed by Isis Maakestad in varying levels of opacity. The patterns Klocka, Bukett, Eng and Frökapsel are all clearly inspired by the botanical world, but at the same time they are graphically clean with a handmade feel.

Maakestads expression sums up the essence of Fine Little Day’s style. Handmade, wobbly lines with a bit of edge and nerve. It is not perfect but vivid. Her patterns fit perfectly for textiles, so she was an obvious choice for this project, says Elisabeth Dunker, founder of Fine Little Day.

All roller shades will be available through the resellers of Sandatex. Find a retailer and discover the whole collection here.
