The pattern UDON by Masayoshi Oya / Studio Oyama on a kitchen towel in pure linen. The linens power of absorption and durable fibers makes it perfect for the kitchen. The textile is jacquard woven and inverts the color so each side looks different.

With thick brushstrokes and natural colors the pattern Udon comes to live. Using a Japanese calligraphy technique called Syodou or Syuuji, Masayoshi Oya has painted strokes like the thick noodle called Udon. For Fine Little Day the Udon pattern has come to live on woven linen in a collection consisting of kitchen linen, cushion covers and fabric by the meter.
