A undulating birch bark tray by Emma Dahlqvist, handmade from birch veneer in Emma’s studio in Östersund. A small plate where even the shadow moves in waves.
Emma Dahlqvist is a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Östersund, Sweden. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. She is also the author of Näver (2019) and Fläta (2022), in which she explores and develops traditional birch bark craft and basket weaving in her own distinctive way.
